Job Description

Job Summary

The Key Account Coordinator supports daily coordination of assigned customer accounts to ensure smooth operations, timely communication, and excellent service delivery. This role collaborates with internal teams, overseas offices, carriers, and customers to coordinate shipments, resolve issues, prepare reports, and administer accounts. Training is provided to candidates building careers in logistics, customer service, or account coordination.

Responsibilities

Account and Customer Support

  • Coordinate daily activities for assigned customer accounts to maintain operational flow
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries and service requests to ensure satisfaction
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting materials for customer reviews and internal discussions
  • Maintain accurate customer records, action logs, and system updates to support transparency and follow-up
  • Track customer requirements and follow up on open items to ensure timely resolution

Operations Coordination

  • Collaborate with operations teams, overseas offices, and service providers to execute shipments effectively
  • Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve service issues, delays, or exceptions to maintain service quality
  • Escalate urgent issues to the appropriate teams to facilitate swift resolution
  • Support the onboarding of new customers and implement their specific requirements to ensure smooth integration
  • Assist with billing follow-up and resolve invoice discrepancies through coordination with relevant parties

Reporting and Administration

  • Prepare and update shipment reports, KPI trackers, and account dashboards to monitor performance
  • Support the team in analysing service performance and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of account-related records for compliance and reference

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Exposure to logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations
  • Experience in customer service, operations support, or administrative coordination
  • Familiarity with reporting tools or CRM systems

Work Requirements

  • Ability to work at a desk and use a computer for extended periods
  • Availability to attend customer meetings or internal operational discussions as needed
  • Flexibility to support urgent operational matters across different time zones
