Captive Account Manager (1 yr contract)

Brief Summary

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with a portfolio of captive insurance clients, ensuring top-tier service delivery. Interpret relevant regulations, keeping clients updated and ensuring compliance with prescribed standards. Assist in the implementation of projects to support business objectives. Oversee treasury and investment functions for captive insurance clients, including reconciliation tasks. Handle insurance and claims accounting processes on behalf of clients. Collaborate with clients and management in preparing and reviewing budgets, policies, and protocols. Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders, including regulators and auditors. Produce management and statutory reports in line with Financial Reporting Standards. Facilitate client board meetings and assist in the preparation of meeting materials. Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CA, ACCA) is preferred. Proven experience in client account management or financial accounting roles, particularly in captive insurance. Strong understanding of insurance accounting principles and regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for building and maintaining client relationships. Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail with a consistent ability to meet deadlines. Proactive and positive attitude.
