Key Responsibilities
- Lead service on the floor during assigned shifts, ensuring seamless service flow and an elevated dining experience for members and guests.
- Supervise and guide service crew on duty, ensuring adherence to fine dining service standards, etiquette, and SOPs.
- Deliver warm, professional, and attentive table service, anticipating guests needs and ensuring personalised service throughout the dining experience.
- Conduct pre-service briefings and coordinate service sequencing to ensure smooth and timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Support upselling initiatives by confidently recommending menu items, wine pairings, and signature offerings.
- Ensure proper table setup, mise en place, and presentation in accordance with fine dining standards.
- Maintain close coordination with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure accurate orders, timely service, and product consistency.
- Monitor service quality throughout the shift and provide on-the-job guidance to maintain service excellence.
- Handle guest feedback and service concerns professionally, providing first-level service recovery and escalating matters when necessary.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation of service stations and dining areas in line with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Support training and mentoring of new service staff and casual employees to uphold service consistency.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and operational policies of the Club.
- Perform and support other operational duties as assigned by the Management to support F&B operations and service excellence.
Requirements
- Friendly and approachable with good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and a hands-on attitude.
- Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling is an advantage.
- Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Previous F&B or customer service experience is a bonus, but not a must.
