This position will be based in Singapore and will be responsible for relationship management and client development for Millennium's existing Asian investors and prospects. The role may require travel to the major business centers in the region and will have a heavy emphasis on managing investor inquiries, planning and executing roadshows and coordinating outreach and responses to investors with the NY-based Investor Relations team.
Principal Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for Millennium's existing Asian investor base
- Coordinate with local Capital Development team to create a plan for further prospective client development across the region
- Assist in planning, preparing and executing regularly scheduled roadshows across the major business centers in the region
- Interact and coordinate with global Capital Development and Investor Relations team during regular weekly calls and other communications
- Ensure Asia capital development efforts are compliant with all industry laws and regulations across the region
Qualifications/Skills Required
- Demonstrated outstanding educational and professional background.
- Solid communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Five to ten years of experience in a marketing / client service role at a hedge fund, bank or similar financial services or asset management company.
- Comfortable interacting with diverse investors including sovereign wealth funds, institutions, high net worth individuals, family offices, pension funds and fund of funds
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Ability to work independently but also as part of a strong team
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong ability to adjust to changing industry and entrepreneurial environment
