About The Role

We are looking for a motivated individual who is looking to develop an investment banking career within a leading global real estate services firm with unparalleled scale and breadth. This is a unique opportunity to join CBRE Capital Advisors, an established global investment banking platform fully integrated with CBRE's market-leading real estate services and client network.

As a CBRE Capital Advisors Associate, you will play a critical role in driving transaction execution and supporting deal origination across capital raising, M&A etc while remaining deeply involved in the technical and analytical aspects of deals. This role offers excellent exposure across APAC and opportunities to interact with blue-chip clients.

What You'll Do

  • P itch books and presentations: Outline and prepare pitch books, marketing materials (teaser, IM, investor presentation), and client presentations. Participate in client meetings and calls, presenting analysis and responding to technical questions
  • Financial modelling & Analysis: Build and maintain complex operating and financial models for valuation, M&A, and capital raising transactions.
  • Valuation and returns analysis: Perform asset and platform valuation using DCF, capitalization method, trading and transaction comparables etc. Perform returns analysis reflecting various capital structures, cash waterfalls, promote structures etc.
  • Deal execution: Lead day-to-day execution and manage deal process to enable smooth and timely execution. Coordinate due diligence processes, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and other advisors. Manage timelines and ensure deliverables are accurate and on schedule
  • Industry and market Research: Conduct research on companies, sectors, real estate / macro data and transaction activities to support pitching and deal execution.
  • Team mentorship: Guide junior team members on technical work, review models and presentations. Ensure team output is of high quality while remaining personally involved in key analyses.

What You'll Need

  • 3-4 years of relevant working experience in sell-side (banks, boutiques, Big 4 corporate advisory etc ), buy-side or corporate development / M&A in real estate or otherwise
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Real Estate, Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel (financial modelling) and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with good understanding of real estate and corporate finance concepts
