Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Canteen Operations Manager located in Singapore. The Canteen Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day canteen operations, including supervising staff, managing food inventory, ensuring quality and hygiene standards, and liaising with suppliers to maintain satisfaction and efficiency. The role involves active recruitment, handling customer feedback, mrnu design and optimizing operational workflows. The goal for the Canteen Operations Manager is to ensure that canteens are (1) fully operational, (2) achieve sales performance targets (3) adhere to budgetary guidelines and (4) are continuall improved and optimized. The manager will also analyze operational data to drive improvements and align cafeteria performance with goals. In the event if work no-show, operations manager also expected to step in to support.

Catering Corner Pte Ltd has multiple canteens across the island and growing. Operations manager is expected to drive (should own a car) to commute between these premises.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in canteen food operations in a management role
  • Strong skills in Operations Management, Team Leadership, and Workflow Optimization
  • Experience in Vendor Management, Inventory Control, and Budget Management
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Standards, Hygiene Compliance, and Quality Assurance
  • Knowledge of food, drinks, maintenance suppliers that can be engaged in times of need
  • Experience in menu design
  • Ability to analyze operational data and implement performance improvements
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using management software and tools is an advantage
  • Experience in food service management or related fields is highly desirable
