Location: Tiong Bahru Centre (near Tiong Bahru MRT) / Bishan Centre (Sin Ming Ave)
Salary: $2,800 - $4,000 per month (indicative - commensurate with working hours & experience)

About Canopy Education

Founded in 2018, Canopy Education is a student care and enrichment provider for primary school children. As part of our expansion, we are looking for Subject Specialists to strengthen our core programmes in English, Math, Science, and Chinese.

Job Description - Subject Specialist Teacher

• Teach English, Math, Science, or Chinese according to the centre's curriculum framework.
• Conduct engaging and interactive lessons that inspire learning.
• Track and record student progress, and provide feedback to both students and parents weekly and termly report and assessment monthly
• Coordinate with the student care class teacher to achieve academic goals
• Create a positive social and physical classroom environment.

Who We Are Looking For

• Passionate educators who enjoy teaching and inspiring primary school children.
• Strong subject knowledge in English, Math, Science, or Chinese.
• Ability to engage students up to 8 students in a class and help them achieve academic excellence.
• Minimum Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent (required Degree in Education or relevant field is an advantage).
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience is required.
• You will be assessed on content knowledge (MOE syllabus) and pedagogical skills (On-site assessment)
