Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Drive the development of core community systems: Deeply engage in the engineering development of rednote's core community products. Develop a thorough understanding of product strategy and take ownership of the entire development lifecycle, from system architecture design and core code implementation to production deployment.
Embrace AI-native engineering and full-stack development: Leverage AI capabilities to expand beyond traditional technical boundaries. Independently take ownership of full-stack development across frontend, client-side, and backend systems, while continuously broadening your technical expertise.
Explore and implement cutting-edge AI technologies: Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies, including LLM-powered applications and agent architectures. Technical curiosity and rapid learning: Strong enthusiasm for technology and the ability to quickly master unfamiliar domains. Hands-on experience with intensive use of generative AI tools to support software development and solve complex engineering problems.
Strong ownership and execution: A high level of responsibility, a self-driven mindset, and rigorous logical thinking. The ability to look beyond surface-level business requirements to identify underlying problems, stay focused on outcomes, and drive projects to successful delivery in complex, collaborative environments.
What You'll Do
We're looking for recent graduates who are genuinely passionate about content, communities, and people.
You'll help grow our creator and community presence in global markets—from finding our first core users and creators, to designing creator development mechanisms and organizing community events, and exploring growth models that can be scaled and replicated.
This is not a traditional community operations role, nor is it about mechanically reaching out to creators or maintaining group chats every day.
We're looking for someone who understands both people and tools. You should be able to develop a deep understanding of local markets and content cultures, while using AI, automation, and lightweight technical solutions to make creator and community growth faster, smarter, and more scalable.
Responsibilities
Contribute to creator and community seeding and growth in key markets
Identify, recruit, and engage promising creators, core community members, and partners
Design creator onboarding, development paths, incentive mechanisms, and long-term engagement programs
Immerse yourself in different content communities to understand users, creators, and community culture, and identify new growth opportunities
Plan online and offline community events to increase engagement, activity, and connection within communities
Analyze creator, content, and community data to continuously improve recruitment, development, and retention strategies
Work with Product, Marketing, Brand, and other teams to turn community insights into product and growth initiatives
Use AI tools for creator sourcing, user research, content analysis, information organization, and project execution
Explore ways to automate creator databases, operational workflows, content monitoring, and community management
Independently own selected markets or projects, building sustainable growth playbooks from the ground up
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above; all majors are welcome
Strong interest in and awareness of the creator economy, social media, community culture, and online content
Enjoy working with people, with strong organizational, communication, and execution skills
Curious about different countries, languages, and cultures, and willing to develop a deep understanding of local users
Strong sense of ownership and the ability to find a starting point and take action when facing ambiguity
Comfortable with technology and data, and willing to use new approaches to solve traditional operational challenges
Proficient in English as a working language
AI-native mindset, with the initiative to identify tasks that should no longer rely on manual work
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in using AI tools such as Codex, Cowork, and ChatGPT for user research, content analysis, creator sourcing, and project management
Able to process large volumes of content, creator, and user signals with AI and identify growth opportunities
Able to build simple automated workflows, data-scraping solutions, creator databases, or internal operations tools
Experience with vibe coding, no-code or low-code development, or agent workflows
Experience running a personal content account or building a community, tool, side project, or other initiative from 0 to 1
Highly attuned to emerging AI products, social products, creator tools, and content trends
Experience with campus communities, creators, community programs, events, or international projects
Proficiency in a second language, such as Malay, Indonesian, or Thai
