ALG is currently hiring Calibration Technicians for our client based in Singapore. Our client is known for designing, manufacturing, and servicing systems and components for the aerospace and defense industries.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform calibration of equipment such as pressure gauges, thermometers, multimeters, and other measuring instruments
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and adjust instruments to meet required standards
- Maintain calibration records and documentation in compliance with quality systems (e.g., ISO standards)
- Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and escalation to engineers
- Perform preventive maintenance on laboratory and field equipment
- Assist in developing calibration procedures and work instructions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Support audits and quality inspections by providing accurate documentation
- Coordinate with operation teams and vendor management to minimize downtime
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in calibration, metrology, or instrumentation
- Knowledge of calibration standards and quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025) is preferred
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
