Your new role

As a Director of Software Engineering (C++), you will lead a team responsible for the design and delivery of large-scale, low-latency technology platforms. You will drive technical strategy, mentor engineering teams, and partner with business stakeholders to deliver highly scalable and resilient solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and enhancement of high-performance C++ platforms.
• Drive technical architecture, system scalability and platform reliability initiatives.
• Build and grow engineering teams while fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Define technology roadmaps and influence strategic engineering decisions.
• Collaborate with global teams and business stakeholders to deliver complex technology solutions.
• Mentor engineers and champion software development best practices.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership experience within high-performance or real-time systems environments.
• Expert-level proficiency in Modern C++ (C++14/17/20) and low-latency distributed systems development.
• Strong understanding of networking, exchange connectivity, FIX, TCP/UDP, and scalable platform architecture.
• Proven track record of building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
• Exposure to trading platforms, market data systems, order management systems, or electronic trading environments is advantageous.
