C# Developer

Objectives

Reporting to the Digital Reality Program Manager and working closely with the Technical Architect,

you will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, integrating and supporting the AVU

Streaming Platform and associated Azure cloud services.

You will play a key role in the implementation of scalable cloud-native solutions enabling Unreal

Engine Pixel Streaming capabilities in alignment with Alstom architecture, security and operational

standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong development experience in C# with .NET / ASP.NET Core or TypeScript with Node.js.
• Experience in developing and maintaining REST APIs, WebSocket's and service integrations.
• Knowledge of Azure services, Virtual Machines, resource lifecycle automation using SDKs or REST APIs, App Services, and Functions.
• Experience developing APIs and backend services for user sessions and resource allocation.
• Ability to automate VM startup, health checks, scaling, and resource cleanup.
• Knowledge of authentication, access control, queue management, timeout handling, and recovery mechanisms.
• Experience in testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently, participate in code reviews, and coordinate releases with DevOps teams.
• Engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent, with
• Experience developing web applications, backend services and APIs using modern development frameworks.
• Good experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based application deployment
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms, preferably using Microsoft Entra ID,SSO and MFA.
• Experience working with REST APIs, web applications and session-based platforms.
• Good understanding of Azure networking, security and cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control systems and application deployments.
• Experience with application monitoring, logging and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of cloud security principles and secure development practices.
• Experience working in international and multicultural environments is a plus.
• Develop APIs and services for web applications, user sessions and resource allocation.
• Automate VM startup, readiness checks, scaling and resource cleanup to control running costs.
• Implement authentication, access controls, queueing, timeouts and recovery from failures.
• Write tests, monitor service health, troubleshoot issues and maintain technical documentation.
• Work independently, explain design decisions, review code and coordinate releases with DevOps.
