Position Summary
AEM Holdings is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Purchasing Executive to manage end-to-end procurement activities that support seamless operations across the Group. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective purchasing by working closely with cross-functional teams and maintaining strong supplier relationships in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage purchase orders from creation to delivery, including order tracking and resolve any issues that arise during the end to end purchase.
- Ensure all operational purchasing activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Work closely with other teams such as manufacturing, finance, engineering and logistics to understand their needs and provide the necessary support.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Generate reports on purchasing activities, analyze data and make recommendations for improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management with at least 3 years of purchasing experience.
- Strong experience in SAP, specifically MRP.
- Able to create and amend Purchase Orders.
- Able to work independently towards achieving company and group objectives.
- Team player, self-driven and able to work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
