Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Break down whole beef, pork, lamb, poultry, and fish into usable cuts for the kitchen
  • Trim, portion, and prepare various meats to chef specifications and menu requirements
  • Ensure all meats are handled and stored according to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Monitor quality and freshness of all meat products, reporting any spoilage or concerns
  • Clean and maintain station, tools, and equipment to meet health code standards
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts
  • Able to perform spilt shift, work on weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods
  • Passion for food and willingness to learn
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
