Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process a variety of raw and ready-to-eat (RTE) meat products to meet quality and safety standards.
- Skilfully cut, trim, debone, and grind meats using knives, mincers, slicers, and bandsaws.
- Slice, wrap, weigh, and label meats, including ham and other specialty products, according to customer orders.
- Arrange and present meat cuts and products in display counters to ensure an appealing and attractive presentation.
- Fulfil special meat cut requests from customers accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of meat received, issued to kitchen staff, and sold to customers.
- Ensure display counters and service areas are consistently clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Adhere to and promote safe work practices and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
- Clean and sanitize all equipment, tools, utensils, and work areas at the end of each shift.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
- Minimum of GCE O Level qualification or a Professional Certificate/NITEC in Hospitality Services.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a service-oriented environment.
- Proven meat-cutting skills and hands-on experience in meat preparation.
- Able to communicate effectively in English with customers.
- Strong customer service orientation with a positive and proactive mindset.
