The National Institute of Education (NIE) invites suitable candidates to join the Division of Academic Computing & Information Services (ACIS) as a Business Systems Specialist/Analyst. This role is instrumental in supporting various project management initiatives within the organization, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder management. This is a contract position till 31 Mar 2028. The contract may be renewed depending on the individual's performance and the organization's needs.

Job Description
As a member of the Digital Solutions department responsible for project management initiatives for Research's Domain, your responsibilities will include:
Strategic Visibility & Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary advocate for the user community, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged regarding their system concerns and feel heard by the Digital Solutions department.
Proactively communicate project roadmaps and keep the university and institution informed about the progress of institute strategic initiatives.
Manage change effectively by ensuring users are well-informed of enterprise-level changes, system updates, and ongoing technology refresh of legacy applications.
Establish real-time dashboards to enhance performance transparency, making project health and support metrics visible to Digital Solutions leaders and the wider division.
Collaborate closely with the Development Team to provide visibility on project plans, stakeholder feedback, and institutional changes.
Support Strategy & Triage Governance:
Oversee the classification of support requests by domain to protect project timelines and ensure effective resource allocation.
Define and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for all user-facing requests to maintain high institutional satisfaction through timely responses.
Innovation Delivery & Data Integrity:
Continuously seek to implement innovations driven by AI, data, and automation across institutional applications.
Lead initiatives to ensure data integrity and accuracy, addressing any discrepancies proactively.
Collaborate with the Development team to enhance the efficiency of processes and implement automated solutions where feasible.
Utilize AI-driven insights to monitor project performance and identify areas for improvement before they impact the user community.
Requirements
A University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a project management or related role, with specific exposure to stakeholder management and support.
Proven expertise in project management methodologies and techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Familiarity with data governance and compliance principles.
Quick learner who is passionate and willing to learn new languages and technologies.
Experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework and Agile project management methodologies.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Fresh graduates with a keen interest in AI-assisted development and project management are welcome to apply.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude, capable of adapting to changes.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage fluid requirements.
