The Opportunity

As a Business Strategy Intern in the DeFi team, you will sit at the intersection of technology and finance - helping shape institutional-grade frameworks across tokenisation, stablecoins, market infrastructure, identity solutions, and digital-asset products.

You will work on a diverse mix of strategy papers, market intelligence research, competitive analyses between market leaders, go-to-market documents, partnership documents, product strategy proposals, and innovation roadmaps.

What You Will Work On

Strategy & Research

• Conduct market research on DeFi protocols, stablecoins, tokenised assets, digital identity, and institutional digital-asset infrastructure.
• Analyse global capital-market trends, regulatory shifts, and new DeFi models, translating insights into structured strategy documents.

Internal & Client Deliverables

• Support the development of client strategy decks, partnership documents, whitepapers, business cases, and regulatory positioning papers.
• Prepare internal strategy memos, product briefs and investment-thematic notes for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with product, engineering, business development, and compliance teams to align strategy with execution.
• Participate in or given the chance to lead sprint discussions, client meetings and strategic reviews.

Execution & Ownership

• Drive independent workstreams with guidance from senior leaders.
• Present research, insights and recommendations to founders and strategic decision-makers.

Who We Are Looking For

Academic & Technical Background

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Management, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills able to synthesise complex, technical concepts into clear recommendations.

Skills & Interests

• Demonstrated interest in either traditional capital markets or decentralised finance - and a strong desire to understand the other.
• Excellent communication and slide-writing skills able to produce clear, structured, investor- or client-ready materials.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, innovation-driven, start-up environment with minimal bureaucracy.
• Self-starter who enjoys intellectual ownership, ambiguity, and iterative problem-solving.

Bonus Points

• Experience with blockchain analytics tools, scripting languages (Python/SQL), or financial modelling.
• Prior exposure to consulting, venture capital, fintech, or policy/regulation.
