Business Strategy Department (BSD) - Associate / Senior Associate

Brief Summary

We are seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to enrich our Business Strategy Department. This role is critical in supporting commercial operations and facilitating collaboration between various teams globally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal processes to support Chartering and Commercial teams. Conduct customer credit checks and oversee credit-related activities. Manage KYC (Know Your Customer) and customer due diligence tasks. Respond to inquiries from commercial teams and guide stakeholders on company policies. Direct inquiries to appropriate departments for effective resolution. Assist commercial teams with customer information requests. Support coordination activities and commercial-related projects. Collaborate with overseas offices to enhance business processes and information sharing. Aid in budgeting, forecasting, and commercial performance reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Maritime Studies, or a related field preferred. Around 2-3 years of relevant working experience in commercial support, operations, coordination, compliance, or related functions. Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and departments. Experience in shipping, commercial operations, business planning, or compliance preferred. Strong coordination, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and inquiries simultaneously. Proactive problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications. Interest in commercial shipping operations.
