Business Strategy Analyst, Corporate Finance

Responsibilities

1. Construct and refine detailed financial models covering business performance, profitability, and valuation scenarios.
2. Run scenario and sensitivity analyses to quantify the financial impact of strategic and operational decisions.
3. Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles across group entities.
4. Convert complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for management decision-making.
5. Carry out market, industry, and competitor studies to surface emerging trends, growth opportunities, and risks.
6. Produce sectoral reports and benchmarks that inform strategic direction and investment priorities.
7. Partner with Corporate Development and Finance on strategic initiatives, partnerships, and new business evaluations.
8. Evaluate potential investment and partnership opportunities through analytical and financial due diligence.
9. Track portfolio company performance, pinpoint improvement areas, and report on key success metrics.
10. Craft investor presentations, fundraising materials, pitch decks, and performance dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field professional certification in financial analysis, corporate strategy, or data analytics (such as CFA) is an advantage.
2. 3 to 5 years of professional experience in strategy, finance, consulting, or technology-driven startups.
3. Demonstrated capability in financial modelling, valuation techniques, market analysis, and business case development, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and familiarity with data visualisation platforms.
4. Sound grasp of financial statements and investment principles, with exposure to M&A, fundraising, or strategic planning processes preferred.
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, intellectual curiosity, and comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments.
