Job Summary
- This role is responsible for managing a broad range of moderately complex supply chain processes for Additive Manufacturing (3D) business operations. The role involves managing business operations and factory planning for Additive Manufacturing hardware products for Prime, Service, Accessories and LTCs, working closely with cross functional and Manufacturing Partner (MPa) for revenue shipment delivery. The role also contributes to special projects as and when required, working cross functionally to implement and deliver.
Responsibilities
- Work cross functionally (BU WW Planning/Engineering/Supply Chain/Procurement) to support factory planning operations specific to FG Printers, Service Kits, Accessories and LTCs supplies and demand activities for Additive Manufacturing (3D) product lines (Polymer/Metal) in MPa manufacturing factories. Manage MPa to deliver shipment performance (On time deliveries [OTD], finance cost management in the area of non-ESC elements such as PPV, EOML scraps, OS forecast & consignment activities, etc.) to meet overall business and operation requirements.
Key Activities
- Support/manage HP Consignment activities (receiving, reservation process and inventory audit) at partner factory
- Support Scrap management (active/ageing) inventory. Influence EOML decision and manage to optimize for lowest operation costs
- Manage factory OT, Downtime and Financing & Storage cost activities
- Monthly Flash $ (OS, PPV) and invoice management
- Collaborate with BU WW planning and MPa on build planning to optimize on capacity utilization and operation costs
- Manage/drive factory Orders and Shipment fulfilment to meet on-time-delivery shipment POR for Printers/Service/Accessories/LTCs
- Drive Materials (AOS) and factory build Capacity requirements to deliver to shipment POR
- Manage MPa (QBR/PBR) on Supply to meet shipment performance goals
- Support NPI launch and ramp shipment requirements
- Inventory report/management to meet business expectations
- Support Contract (CDA, PA)
Education & Experience Recommended
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field.
