Job Description

Business Operations Lead (Banking Channel)

About OSL

OSL is the first SFC-licensed digital asset platform in Hong Kong and a PayFi innovator. Through stablecoin payments, cross-border settlement and global licensing, we are building the next-generation payments network. Stablecoins have become everyday money across emerging markets and are widely viewed as blockchain's killer app, with industry focus shifting from token issuance to real-world consumer and enterprise payment adoption. The strongest growth lies in cross-border B2B payments, where providers embedding stablecoins into corporate settlement flows can capture significant volume and float. Long-term defensibility comes from regulatory licences, banking partners and cross-border corridors.

OSL holds or has acquired licences in Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, Bermuda and Indonesia, and is expanding into Europe, Brazil, Southeast Asia and Africa through acquisitions and licence applications. With OSL Pay and StableX, we embed stablecoin settlement into bank accounts and card networks, support 150+ digital assets, and provide 24/7 fiat–stablecoin conversion. As a regulated pioneer with a startup mindset, we believe the future of payments will be driven by real adoption and scalable deployment, not technology narratives. We welcome builders who are passionate about crypto and payments to join us in shaping compliant, global payment infrastructure.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced, highly analytical Business Operations Lead - Banking Channel to take full ownership of our institutional payment channels, middle-office execution, and operational data infrastructure. This is a critical middle-office leadership role positioned between our front-office FI Partnership teams and our back-office Product/Engineering divisions.

You will own the end-to-end project life cycle of financial institution cooperative channels—from initial entry and due diligence to technical launch, dashboard construction, and active volume optimization.

  • Work Arrangement: Flexible Hybrid Setup (Based in Hong Kong / Singapore)
  • Core Focus: 70–80% Internal Execution & Framework Building | 20–30% Partner Coordination

Key Responsibilities

1. FI Channel Onboarding & Capability Optimization

  • Own the full-process onboarding and delivery of new financial institution cooperative channels, managing pre-launch documentation, data mapping, testing, and production acceptance loops.
  • Actively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, settlement latencies, or transaction friction across active channels to improve product adaptability for institutional cross-border settlement scenarios.
  • Continuously clean and optimize payment links, removing inefficient or dead channels to maximize overall network conversion rates.

2. Standardized Management Ledgers & Volume Activation

  • Build, maintain, and supervise comprehensive channel management ledgers to monitor transaction volumes, partner activity levels, and cost benchmarks.
  • Collaborate closely with front-office BD teams to resolve onboarding card blocks, funding issues, or settlement clearance friction for high-value enterprise accounts.
  • Drive operational strategies to unlock latent channel capacities, specifically focused on scaling the proportion of active institutional clients

3. Cross-Departmental SOPs & BI Operations

  • Formulate, standardize, and deploy core cross-departmental SOPs (including channel, daily maintenance, and SLA ticketing workflows) to guarantee fully auditable, frictionless operations.
  • Partner with the Business Intelligence (BI) team to iteratively upgrade real-time data dashboards tracking core metrics like transaction volume, settlement scales, and channel health.
  • Institutionalize a monthly data review process, delivering comprehensive operational analysis reports to optimize channel fee logic and foreign exchange (FX) cost benchmarks.

4. Incident Management & Channel Resilience

  • Maintain an ongoing, daily operational issue tracking ledger to log and clear settlement delays, routing exceptions, or gateway drops.
  • Guarantee a 100% quarterly ticket closure rate for operational issues, ensuring zero backlog for high-priority enterprise service queries.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: 8–10 years of experience in FinTech, B2B payment operations, cross-border settlement, or merchant acquiring infrastructure.
  • Target Background: Strong preference for candidates coming directly from top-tier cross-border payment networks or stablecoin infrastructure platforms (e.g., Airwallex, BVNK, Adyen, Stripe, Checkout.com).
  • Technical & Data Literacy: Proven experience working with BI dashboard optimization tools, data ledgers, and standard operational tools (SQL, Power BI, Jira, Confluence).
  • Operational Acumen: Deep, demonstrable knowledge of B2B payment routing, multi-currency clearing cycles, merchant onboarding flows (KYC/KYB), and automated fee scheduling.
  • Languages: Business fluency in English and Mandarin is mandatory to handle cross-border institutional documentation and corporate stakeholders.
  • Mindset: A highly proactive, metric-driven operator who thrives on 0-to-1 framework creation and closed-loop process execution.

Why Join Us

  • Be at the forefront of the PayFi evolution, bridging the gap between traditional banking networks and regulated stablecoin ecosystems.
  • Drive global impact by managing corridors across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
  • Work within a high-energy, performance-driven culture backed by an SFC-licensed institutional pioneer.
