We are looking for a Business Office Associate to support daily clinical operations by ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience through scheduling, coordination, and clear communication with the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide frontline administrative support to patients, families, and clinical staff.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, offering accurate information and assistance.
- Make outbound calls to patients and clinic staff to coordinate and confirm operating theatre bookings, ensuring accurate and timely scheduling.
- Collaborate closely with clinic and surgical teams to optimize scheduling and patient flow.
- Assist with patient registration, manage pre-admission documentation, and submit insurance claims.
- Generate and issue tax invoices and receipts for patients and clinics as needed.
- Manage appointment calendars, track follow-up visits, and update patient records.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, faxing, data entry, document preparation, and general administrative support.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and compliance with healthcare policies and data protection standards.
- Assist with ad hoc duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- GCE O Level or Diploma in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field.
- Prior experience in a healthcare, surgical, or outpatient clinic setting will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts as assigned according to the duty roster, including alternate Saturdays and overtime when required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first, service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
