Business Manager
Job Description
You will be responsible for overseeing overall management operations related to clinic operations and business expansion at a Japanese-affiliated clinic in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee overall clinic operations (approximately 20 staff members)
- Manage budgeting, sales and marketing strategy planning and execution, and staff development
- Lead recruitment activities, including hiring medical interpreters
Features & Culture:
- The company currently operates two locations in River Valley and West Coast, with plans for further business expansion including new clinic openings
- Main clientele are Japanese families and children residing in Singapore
- A fast-paced, venture/startup-like working environment
Requirements
Required Experience & Skills:
- Experience in B-to-C business or in a managerial (leadership) role
- Financial knowledge including P&L and balance sheet management, as well as overall business management capability
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Passionate about contributing to the growth of a Japanese medical clinic
- Polite, with strong listening skills and a collaborative mindset
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Business level
Working Conditions
Employment Type: Shift-based system (5-day work week)
Working Hours: Shift-based between 8:30 AM and 10:00 PM (8 working hours per day)
Shift Examples:
① 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
② 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Working hours may be adjusted depending on operational needs.
Days Off / Public Holidays: Based on shift schedule (if required to work on a public holiday, a substitute day off will be provided)
Paid Leave: 10 days per year after completion of probation period
