As part of the regional treasury team, this Assistant Treasury Manager (Regional Business Partner) role will partner closely with finance stakeholders across APAC, Middle East & Africa to support treasury strategy, liquidity planning, FX exposure management and process improvement initiatives.
Description
Partner closely with regional business leaders and finance teams to support strategic and operational decision-making
Act as a treasury business partner to country finance teams across APAC and AMEA markets
Provide insights and recommendations to support commercial initiatives, investment decisions and market expansion plans
Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Controllership, Tax, Legal and Operations teams on cash and funding priorities
Support business units in evaluating financial risks, liquidity impacts and foreign exchange considerations
Drive alignment between global treasury objectives and local market operational requirements
Support senior management with treasury-related analysis, presentations and decision support materials
Build strong relationships with regional stakeholders to improve visibility, forecasting accuracy and cash management practices
Influence and support continuous improvement initiatives across regional finance processes and controls
Facilitate communication between regional and global treasury teams to ensure consistency in execution and governance
Partner with commercial and operational teams to identify opportunities for working capital optimisation
Support regional budgeting and planning discussions from a liquidity and funding perspective
Profile
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline
Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CA, CIMA, ACT) are advantageous
Relevant experience in treasury, corporate finance or accounting within an MNC or regional environment
Working knowledge of FX risk management, liquidity management and funding structures
Experience with cash flow forecasting, liquidity reporting and balance sheet optimisation
Familiarity with treasury systems (e.g., SAP Treasury) or similar platforms is beneficial
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with stakeholders across regions and time zones
Clear communication skills with confidence engaging finance and non-finance stakeholders
High integrity and commitment to governance, controls and policy compliance
