This role sits within the Data & Experimentation Platform and works closely with the Business Process and Analytics (BPA), Data Analytics across BU, and Data Warehouse Engineering teams.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Finance and other departments to standardize metric definitions, identify authoritative data sources, and build the data pipelines that feed them.
- Own and maintain the Operating Metrics and Profitability dashboard, ensuring data stays accurate and consistent over time.
- Work proactively with stakeholders across the Business Process and Analytics team to anticipate changing business needs and adapt dashboards ahead of time, not after the fact.
- Build end-to-end data solutions, from raw data to finished report, that reduce time other teams spend on manual data prep and reconciliation.
- Translate financial and operational trends into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Simplify complex metrics and ratios into a form that non-technical stakeholders can act on.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and analysis, reducing manual effort and human error.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science/Informatics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in business intelligence or a similar analytics role, ideally in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Cloud for building and managing dashboards and data sources; Familiarity with other BI tools such as Looker/Data Studio, Preset, or Power BI.
- Strong SQL skills, plus working proficiency in Python or R.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail when working with large, messy datasets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable adapting quickly as business priorities shift. Self-motivated and able to work with a degree of ambiguity.
- Exposure to or hands-on experience with GenAI tools applied to analytics or reporting workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Databricks) and modern data stack (Semantic Layer).
