Job Title: Business Group Finance Director - International

Department: Finance

Reports To: International Business Group Leader and CFO

Supervise: Regional staff of financial analysts and managers [in China and India]

Location: Dubai, Singapore (or Pune - the ideal candidate)

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Summary

This role is the most senior financial leader in the international region, a member of the CECO Finance Council with responsibility for business operations and consolidated P&L in Asia, China, India, Korea, and Middle East, and a critical business and thought partner to the VP, International.

The Business Group Finance Director - International is a strategic and operational financial executive responsible for driving profitable growth, operational efficiency, and effecting operational and commercial planning and reporting across multiple Platforms (business units) with operations and teams in the International locations. This critical role combines high-level financial planning, analysis and management with hands-on leadership, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, cost management, and alignment with corporate performance goals. The position requires strong analytical and planning skills, executive-level communication, and the ability to influence decisions that shape the future of the SBG.

Key Responsibilities

. Oversee end-to-end financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and operational and management reporting (monthly, quarterly),

. Build annual operating and financial plans and deploy targets across business platforms and regions.

. Build, maintain, and enhance financial models used to evaluate business performance, customer and project economics, and growth opportunities.

. Conduct risk analysis and scenario modeling.

. Prepare multi-year financial plans aligned with International/Regional strategies and corporate objectives.

. Support corporate strategy initiatives, including capital allocation and M&A/partnership opportunities.

. Conduct cost analysis and variance assessments to identify business improvement opportunities and drive operational efficiency.

. Collaborate with Corporate FP&A team to design and implement scalable reporting frameworks to track key business and operational metrics.

. Present complex financial insights, performance results, and forecasts to senior leadership, the CFO and CEO, and external stakeholders in clear and professional formats.

. Collaborate with CECO Audit Services and external auditors.

. Lead capital planning and investment analysis to ensure optimal allocation of resources and support strategic growth initiatives.

. Identify and mitigate financial risks.

. Champion business process improvement by evaluating and enhancing financial systems, reporting standards, and operational workflows.

. Lead and mentor finance teams within the International team, promoting analytical rigor and professional development.

. Support deployment of 80-20 and other business transformation initiatives.

. Able to travel internationally.

Experience

. Financial management across multiple business lines matrixed into multiple international regions.

. Financial planning and analysis (FP&A) in a high-growth or complex global organization.

. Execution, revenue planning and recognition, and performance analysis in a project and solutions business model.

. Operating within industrial, environmental, process, and energy sectors.

. Demonstrated ability to lead financial due diligence and integration of potential acquisitions or strategic partnerships.

. Leading teams across multiple geographies and cultures.

Qualifications

. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field MBA/MS or equivalent highly preferred.

. Minimum of 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience across and within, organizations with multiple business units or divisions.

. 7+ years of experience building financial models, performing scenario analysis, and translating data into strategic insights.

. Proven ability to lead complex projects and drive operational improvements.

. Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience presenting to senior executives.

. Expertise in financial modeling, data analytics, and reporting tools (Excel, various ERP systems and AI-enabled platforms).

. Experience in vendor evaluation and strategic project management.

. Project Leadership & Execution - Demonstrated capability to lead and manage multiple initiatives, ensuring timely and impactful delivery of financial and operational improvement inspection duties, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Travel Requirements: Ability to travel internationally (up to 50%). It is expected that this role will be visiting and working from multiple CECO business sites.
