Key Responsibilities
Business & Functional Analysis
- Engage with stakeholders to understand existing business processes and capture functional requirements.
- Convert business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, workflows, and process diagrams.
- Act as a bridge between business users and delivery teams to support solution design and alignment.
- Identify gaps in current processes or systems and recommend improvements or alternative solutions.
- Prepare, update, and maintain functional and process documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Define and execute test strategies, including test plans, scenarios, and detailed test cases aligned with requirements.
- Perform end-to-end testing activities such as system testing, integration testing, UAT, and regression testing.
- Log, track, and validate defects through to resolution.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet agreed business requirements and quality benchmarks.
- Work closely with end users during UAT and support formal acceptance and sign-off.
Delivery & Ongoing Support
- Support solution rollout activities and provide assistance during post-implementation phases.
- Participate in Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to delivery estimates, scheduling, and milestone planning.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in a functional analysis, business analysis, or similar role.
- Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle using Agile and/or Waterfall approaches.
- Experience with requirement and testing tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, or comparable platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (data analysis, formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint (professional and executive-level presentations).
- Exposure to domains such as healthcare, financial services, or public sector environments is an advantage.
