As part of the CECO Environmental family of brands, Peerless Separation & Filtration plays a critical role in delivering specialized water solutions that protect both people and the environment. The Business Analyst leverages deep subject matter expertise to enhance processes, workflows, and techniques within the Industrial Air Solutions function. This role requires a strong understanding of how different areas integrate across the organization to support business objectives. The analyst evaluates complex issues with significant impact, balancing multiple perspectives and data sources to guide decisions. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for filtering and prioritizing dynamic information and aligning stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
. Analyze operational, financial, and market data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
. Develop dashboards and reports to support decision-making across the division.
. Collect and interpret financial data from balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
. Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to support planning.
. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize workflows and reduce costs.
. Conduct competitive and market analysis to support product development and strategic planning.

. Document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for technology or process improvements.
. Support change management initiatives and training related to new systems or processes
. Partner with engineering and product teams to evaluate the performance of air filtration and ventilation systems using operational data.
. Support the development of business cases for new initiatives, capital investments, or process changes.
. Conduct root cause analysis on operational inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, and customer satisfaction.
. Assist in the implementation and optimization of digital tools and platforms used across the division.
. Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather business requirements and align stakeholders.
. Prepare executive-level presentations and reports summarizing findings, trends, and recommendations.
. Benchmark internal performance against industry standards and competitors.
. Track and analyze customer feedback and warranty claims to identify product or service improvement opportunities.
. Collaborate with finance to assess cost-saving opportunities and ROI of proposed solutions.
Qualifications
. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field. A master's degree, preferably.
. 5+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in industrial manufacturing or environmental solutions.
. Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and ERP systems (e.g., Epicor, D365).
. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
