Job Description
Role: Business Finance Role (CA Qualified)
Location: Bangalore
Key Responsibilities
- Support preparation and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and business plans
- Track financial performance against budgets and highlight variances
- Analyse costs, margins, profitability, and unit economics
- Assist in preparation of MIS packs for management, Board and investors
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly business and financial metrics
- Perform variance analysis and highlight key business drivers
- Convert financial data into actionable insights for decision-making
- Work closely with sales, operations, marketing, and product teams
- Support pricing decisions, cost controls, and margin improvement initiatives
- Monitor cash flows, working capital cycles, and liquidity positions
- Track receivables, payables, inventory, and cash conversion metrics
- Assist in cash forecasting and fund utilization tracking
- Monitor cash burn, runway, and working capital cycles
- Support automation and process improvement initiatives
- Support documentation for fundraising, due diligence, and audits
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), 1st/2nd attempt.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic models)
- Ability to interpret data and convert numbers into business insights
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and take ownership
