Role Overview

1. Strategic Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Lead and enhance regional operating processes and financial results, ensuring alignment with corporate standards across SEA subsidiaries.
  • Identify gaps in current workflows and implement continuous improvement initiatives to maximize operational efficiency.

2. Financial Analysis & Monthly Closing Leadership

  • Oversee the monthly closing analysis for the region, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of Gross Margin and Manufacturing (MFG) Efficiency, identifying key drivers of variance and proposing corrective actions.

3. Management Reporting & Decision Support

  • Prepare and present the Operational Result Analysis for the Management Operational Review (MOR), highlighting risks and opportunities for growth.
  • Take ownership of the Region Report, consolidating data from multiple SEA entities to provide a holistic view of regional performance.

4. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the Annual Budgeting process and periodic forecasting for the SEA region, ensuring logical assumptions and challenging inputs where necessary.
  • Perform budget-to-actual analysis to monitor spending and performance against targets.

5. Business Partnering & System Implementation

  • Act as a strategic partner to Corporate Business Finance Management (BFM) to drive improvements in Business Unit (BU) and Business Group (BG) performance.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate IT and Finance teams to lead the testing and rollout of new financial programs, systems, or T-codes (SAP) within the region to ensure smooth adoption.

Who are we looking for

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 10-12 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or Managerial Accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
  • Industry: Experience in Manufacturing or Electronics industry is a strong plus.
  • Regional Exposure: Proven experience managing financial operations across the SEA region or multi-country scope.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SAP (or ERP systems) and advanced Excel.
  • Language: Fluent in English (Corporate communication language)
