Role Summary
We are looking for a Sales Specialist (Staff Augmentation)to drive new logo acquisition and new business growth. This role is ideal for a hands-on, hunter-style sales professional with experience selling IT / tech staffing or professional services in a small to mid-sized agency environment.
You will operate as a GM-style individual contributor, owning the full sales cycle - from prospecting to deal closure - while working closely with delivery and recruitment teams to scale revenue through staff augmentation and contract hiring models.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new logo acquisition across tech, enterprise, and scaling organisations
- Sell staff augmentation / contract hiring solutions using a parked payroll model
- Own end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, solutioning, commercial negotiation, and closure
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with consistent deal momentum
- Work closely with recruiters to align client demand with talent supply
- Identify upsell and repeat business opportunities within new and existing clients
- Develop strong relationships with hiring managers, procurement, and decision-makers
- Track sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts accurately
- Represent the business professionally in client meetings and negotiations
Incentives & Commission
- Commission-based incentives tied directly to sales closure and billed revenue
- Staff augmentation revenue follows a parked payroll / markup model
- Clear and transparent incentive structure to reward consistent new business performance
Requirements & Experience
- 3 - 4 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in:
- Staff augmentation / IT staffing
- Recruitment agency sales
- Professional services or contract workforce solutions
- Proven success in new business development / hunter roles
- Experience working in small agencies or lean sales environments preferred
- Strong understanding of contract staffing, payroll models, and margins
- Comfortable working independently with ownership and accountability
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a target-based role
