Role Description

The Business Development Specialist identifies new business opportunities, builds strategic relationships, and supports the growth of the company through market outreach and partnership development. This role focuses on researching markets, generating leads, and helping convert prospects into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and outreach
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients and partners
  • Conduct market analysis to understand trends, competitors, and customer needs
  • Generate leads through calls, emails, networking, and events
  • Support the sales pipeline by qualifying prospects and arranging meetings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and tailored solutions
  • Track business development activities using CRM tools
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and sales materials
  • Contribute to achieving revenue and partnership targets

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities and think strategically
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or lead generation is a plus
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is an advantage
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable engaging with prospects
