Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth across both commercial and residential sectors.. This role requires a deep understanding of the building materials industry, market trends, and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and market expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and distributors.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product positioning and pricing strategies.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and bids.
- Monitor project pipelines and ensure timely follow-up and conversion.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business & Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the building materials or construction industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new markets.
- Strong network within the construction sector is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
