Job Description

Our client is looking for someone who to join them in a Japanese Trading company dealing with Plastic Resin and Raw Materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities while managing existing customer accounts.
  • Drive sales growth through proactive market outreach and client engagement.
  • Handle customer enquiries, quotations, pricing discussions, and order follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on sourcing, pricing, lead times, and performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Follow up on payments and address customer feedback or issues.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term relationship management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of sales/business development experience in commodity and engineering plastics.
  • Strong knowledge of plastic distribution and technical product applications.
  • Degree-qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Self-driven, analytical, and able to work independently.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required.
