Responsibilities
. Drive business development activities, identify new opportunities, and maintain existing business contacts to secure automation and robotics projects.
. Expand and maintain a strong customer network, manage the sales pipeline through the company's CRM system, and provide tailored solutions with support from the General Manager
. Manage and grow assigned key accounts, ensuring long-term relationships while driving revenue and profitability.
. Prepare proposals, quotations, and technical documentation for customers.
. Pursue and manage grant opportunities (IMDA, Enterprise Singapore, Start-Up SG, and other regional programs).
. Develop and maintain vendor partnerships, liaising with suppliers for procurement, import/export, and cost optimization.
. Collaborate closely with the Director and General Manager to ensure proposals are technically accurate and commercially viable.
. Conduct roadshows, product seminars, technology days, and client presentations to promote company solutions and increase market visibility.
. Represent the company in client meetings, demos, expos, and industrial showcases as the face of the business.
. Stay updated on product launches, new technologies, and competitor offerings to proactively introduce value-added solutions to clients.
. Serve as a key driver behind company growth, innovation, and brand recognition within the automation and robotics industry.
Requirements
. Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Sales or Business development related discipline.
. 3-5 years of experience in technical sales or business development
. Familiar with CRM tools and sales pipeline management.
. Experience with government grant applications (IMDA, ESG, Start-Up SG) preferred.
. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
. Customer-oriented mindset with product and application knowledge.
. Mandarin proficiency for vendor liaison is an advantage.
. Willing to travel regionally when required.
General Employment Terms
. Work Week: 5 days (Monday - Friday)
. Working Hours: 09:00 am - 05:30 pm (1-hour lunch break)
. Overtime: Not applicable (executive positions only)
. Leave Entitlement: 14 days annual leave + statutory public holidays
. Performance Review: Conducted at year end salary/bonus adjustments tied to results
. Travel Requirement: Some roles may require regional/international travel (as projects demand)
