Your role: Are you a B2B SaaS sales professional with a passion for the intersection of Law and AI AÏP Genius is looking for a high-energy, strategic Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us scale our global outreach as we enter a critical phase of hyper-growth. Reporting directly to the Director of Revenue & Growth, you'll be a core contributor to our Go-To-Market (GTM) execution. This is a remote role designed for someone who takes ownership of their results and thrives on autonomy, with a focus on the APAC market.

The Mission: Your goal is to penetrate targeted markets and build a high-velocity pipeline. Your success is measured by Qualified Meetings (SQLs) and Pipeline Value Generated. Key responsibilities include:

  • Outbound Mastery: run targeted outbound campaigns via email, calls, and social selling to high-value IP firms and Corporate Counsels.
  • A/B Testing: test, and iterate on outreach campaigns and strategies to optimize conversion rates.
  • CRM Management: Maintain HubSpot as the source of truth, ensuring accurate records and high-quality lead tracking.
  • Events strategy: Turn industry conferences into a calendar full of high-value meetings
  • Market Intelligence: Translate market feedback into actionable data to help the team refine product-market fit.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing to develop BD materials and align sales efforts with service delivery.

Your Arsenal (the sales stack)

  • Intelligence & Execution: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and Lemlist.
  • AI Lab: Direct access to Claude and Gemini to assist in hyper-personalized outreach, research, and workflow automation.
  • Lead support: We provide high-quality lead lists; you provide the hook.

Key Qualifications & Skills

✔ Mindset: A unique blend of legal-mind, salesperson, and tech-enthusiast

✔ Experience: 2-3 years in Business Development within IP/LegalTech or related industries

✔ Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Law or CS (or equivalent high-level sales experience).

✔ Legal Savvy: Comfortable navigating conversations with lawyers and in-house counsels

✔ IP knowledgeable: Basic understanding of patents and/or trademarks

✔ Linguistic Skills: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

Location & Autonomy

  • Geography: This is a 100% remote position. To ensure effective collaboration and timezone alignment with our management team, you must be based in Western Europe, Middle East, or ASEAN.
  • Autonomy: You have full autonomy over your schedule, provided you are hitting your targets and maintaining pipeline velocity. We care about outcomes, not time-in-seat.
  • Uncapped Upside: A competitive base salary with an aggressive commission structure and accelerators for over-performance.
  • Career Velocity: This is a career-defining role; high performers will be fast-tracked into Account Executive roles to own the full closing cycle within 12-18 months.
