Mama Shelter Singapore is seeking a commercially driven Business Development & Partnerships Manager to support revenue growth, strategic partnerships, corporate sales, and business development initiatives across the hotel, restaurants, rooftop venue, and lifestyle experiences.
The role combines commercial strategy, partnership development, corporate account management, event revenue generation, and market analysis to strengthen the brand's positioning within Singapore's hospitality and lifestyle sector.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and external stakeholders to identify new business opportunities, drive commercial performance, and support long-term growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Corporate Sales
- Identify and develop new revenue opportunities across rooms, F&B, events, and lifestyle experiences.
- Develop and manage corporate accounts, agency relationships, and strategic partnerships.
- Generate leads and secure group bookings, corporate functions, and private events.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and partnership arrangements.
Partnerships & Brand Collaborations
- Establish relationships with brands, media agencies, event organizers, and corporate clients.
- Develop sponsorship, activation, and collaboration opportunities.
- Create commercial proposals and partnership presentations.
- Coordinate cross-promotional marketing initiatives.
Commercial Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and business intelligence reporting.
- Monitor commercial performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare management reports, revenue forecasts, and commercial recommendations.
- Support pricing, business planning, and commercial decision-making.
Event & Revenue Development
- Drive event sales and venue hire opportunities.
- Support planning and execution of corporate functions, brand launches, networking events, and lifestyle activations.
- Work closely with Operations and Marketing teams to maximize commercial outcomes.
Strategic Projects
- Support management on new business initiatives, partnerships, and growth projects.
- Participate in commercial planning and business development activities across the broader group where required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Hospitality, Marketing, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, corporate finance, corporate development, consulting, hospitality, commercial strategy, or partnership management.
- Strong analytical, financial modelling, and presentation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Experience preparing commercial proposals, business cases, or investment presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
