Job Description

We are hiring the Business Development Director in the hair wellness industry (combining hair care, beauty, and health) drives revenue growth, expands market presence, and builds strategic partnerships for brands, salons, or product distributors. This high-impact role focuses on acquiring new channels, managing key client relationships, and identifying market trends to increase brand market share.

Job Duties

1. Strategic Growth & Market Expansion

Develop and Execute Strategy: Create and implement long-term business development strategies to drive sales, distribution, and market share.

Build the brand of multi-chain business swiftly.

New Channel Acquisition: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, including new retail locations, partnerships, salons, or distributors.

Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior in the hair/wellness sector to identify growth opportunities.

Partnerships & Alliances: Build and manage relationships with strategic partners to expand service offerings.

2. Revenue & Sales Management

Target Achievement: Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets set by management.

Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and closing.

Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with stakeholders (e.g., salon owners, distributors).

Sales Forecasting: Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.

3. Brand & Relationship Management

Relationship Building: Maintain rapport with existing clients and stakeholders to ensure business continuity.

Brand Positioning: Strengthen brand presence in the market through targeted promotional activities and partnerships.

Training & Education: Oversee the preparation of training materials and conduct product training for internal teams and partners.

4. Operational Collaboration

Product Development Support: Collaborate with product teams to develop new products based on market insights.

Cross-functional Coordination: Work with marketing, operations, and customer success teams to ensure smooth service delivery and brand consistency.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 10+ years of work experience in business development, brand management, or commercial management within the beauty, hair care, or wellness industry and have capability and experience to build multi location brand chain in one city and manage the franchise shop in this industry.

Skills: Proven track record of high-impact sales, negotiation, and strategic planning.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of salon/retail operations, distribution channels, and consumer trends in premium beauty.

Leadership: Ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Education: Typically requires a Diploma or above.
