Business Development Manager

What will you do

You will be part of the global business development team and as such, be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth.

The position will report to Vice President Business Development, based in Singapore.

We are looking for a candidate with experience and good knowledge within the field of ship technical management as well as good commercial understanding. The candidate should demonstrate excellent co-operation skills at all levels in an organization as well as for external stakeholders and always look for solutions. Ability to engage in digitalization projects and sell digital concepts/offers.

Qualifications/minimum requirements:

• Fluent in English
• A basic degree preferably in the Sales or Business development
• 5-10 years of regional sales experience in a senior position, preferably in Maritime Industry/Ship Management
• Good knowledge of the region, the industry and the current economic situation.
• Must have proven social networking skills
• Must have a profound knowledge of ship management

• Excellent knowledge of computer software especially for presentations
• Familiar with CRM software solutions
