WHY.CGI is looking for a Business Development Manager from the CGI / advertising industry with a strong global network and solid sales experience.
The role is focused on attracting new clients and generating business opportunities through outreach, networking, and industry presence.
Key responsibilities:
- Attract new clients and generate new business opportunities across global markets
- Drive outreach activities to initiate conversations and meetings
- Develop and manage a qualified sales pipeline through relationships and networking
- Build relationships with decision-makers at target companies through industry connections
- Represent WHY.CGI at industry events and conferences in the US, Europe, and MENA
- Travel internationally to strengthen partnerships and develop new business opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align outreach with modern marketing practices
- Contribute to brand visibility by building a strong personal presence in the industry
- Own and drive business development initiatives with a high level of autonomy and proactivity
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales
- Background in CGI, creative production, advertising, media, or related industries
- Experience working with large international marketing agencies (e.g. Saatchi & Saatchi, Grey, McCann, Omnicom, Ogilvy, Dentsu, or similar)
- Experience working with clients in beauty, fashion, automotive, consumer tech, travel & hospitality, sports
- Proven ability to attract new clients and build a sales pipeline
- Strong understanding of modern marketing, outreach, and lead generation
- Established professional network within the industry - required, preferably across US, Europe, and MENA
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- High level of independence, ownership, and internal motivation
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally
- English level: C1+ (spoken and written)
