Business Development Lead

Singapore Remote

About the Company

The team is building a high-performance execution layer for on-chain trading a Solana-based rollup delivering sub-millisecond latency and over 30,000 orders per second. As the organization moves from build to scale, it is hiring a Business Development Lead to convert this technical advantage into liquidity, volume, revenue, and category presence.

The project is backed by prominent trading and crypto investors across the industry.

The Role

You will own commercial outcomes across market makers, trading firms, whales, liquid investors, and key ecosystem partners. This is a high-impact role centered on sourcing, closing, and scaling the deals that shape liquidity and overall growth.

This is not a surface-level partnerships position it is a commercial seat responsible for capturing value, structuring profitable deals, and driving core liquidity.

Responsibilities

Lead, negotiate, and close high-impact commercial deals with:

  • Market makers and liquidity providers
  • Trading firms and high-value traders
  • Strategic ecosystem partners
  • Liquid investors and institutional counterparties

Negotiate and secure:

  • Competitive fee and pricing structures
  • Liquidity commitments
  • Strategic alignment or exclusivity when appropriate
  • Co-marketing and distribution leverage

Build scalable commercial frameworks:

  • Deal flow, evaluation, and pricing strategy
  • Negotiation frameworks and term structures
  • Playbooks for market makers, traders, affiliates, and integrations

Collaborate cross-functionally to shape product-growth levers:

  • Fees, rebates, and liquidity programs
  • Incentive structures for market makers and traders
  • Affiliate and referral economics

Represent the company externally:

  • Industry events, conferences, and strategic meetings
  • Communicate the platform's technical and commercial edge

Requirements
  • 3+ years in BD, Institutional Sales, or Commercial Strategy
  • Experience in at least one of the following:
  • Crypto exchanges or trading venues
  • Market makers or trading firms
  • DeFi protocols (DEXs, liquid staking, derivatives, etc.)
  • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals
  • Strong negotiation and commercial structuring skills
  • Existing relationships with traders, funds, and market makers
  • Commercially sharp, structured, calm, and outcome-driven
