Business Development Manager (Bio Science)

Salary Range: SGD 6,500 - 12,000 per month

Travel Requirement: Up to 50% (SEA / Oceania)

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead regional growth initiatives in the Bioscience sector. This role focuses on expanding market presence and driving sales for clinical diagnostics systems and biomolecule analysis and purification products across Southeast Asia and Oceania, while working closely with our Japan Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

. Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans for clinical diagnostics systems and biomolecule analysis & purification products.

. Activate, manage, and optimize sales channels and organizational capabilities to maximize revenue and profitability.

. Conduct market analysis and formulate strategic business development plans for assigned regions (SEA/Oceania).

. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities beyond existing business segments.

. Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, distributors, and suppliers.

. Prepare and report sales analysis, business plans, and market updates to Japan Head Office.

. Maintain regular communication and collaboration with headquarters and regional offices to share market intelligence.

. Support management in monitoring and improving overall company performance.

. Provide cross-functional coordination and organizational support when required.

Requirements

. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

. Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or marketing of clinical diagnostics systems and/or biomolecule analysis and purification products.

. Strong knowledge of clinical diagnostics, biomolecule analysis technologies, and related markets.

. Proven experience in developing and executing strategic and business plans.

. Basic understanding of international trade and trading documentation.

. Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills.

. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
. Business-level Japanese language proficiency (written and spoken) to communicate effectively with Japan Head Office and stakeholders.

. Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time to visit customers and overseas business partners.
