Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and execute business development and fundraising strategies aligned with MtSS's mission and long-term goals.
- Identify, secure, and manage corporate sponsorships, donations, and grant opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with maritime industry stakeholders, donors, and partners.
- Coordinate fundraising campaigns, events, and sponsorship activities.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and reports for prospective and existing sponsors.
- Collaborate with the communications team to develop promotional materials, newsletters, and donor engagement tools.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising initiatives and recommend improvements.
- Represent MtSS at industry and networking events to promote the organisation's mission and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant fundraising policies, ethical standards, and reporting requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, fundraising, or corporate partnerships (experience in the maritime sector or non-profit sector is advantageous).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising/revenue targets.

Other Requirements
- Willingness to occasionally work evenings and weekends for events.
- Knowledge of the maritime industry and seafarers welfare will be an added advantage.
