Job Description

We are representing a leading engineering and construction company, specializing in structural steel works to seek for a Specification Manager to join the team.

Responsibility:

Reporting to Head of Marketing and Sales
Engage architects, consultants, developers, contractors, relevant authorities at concept &/or design stages to have product specified or approved, etc.
Track project pipelines to ensure timely conversion of specifications toward projects being secured
Maintain accurate reporting on project status, market activities, new opportunities, etc.
Support marketing and sales objectives through seminars, advertisements, trade fairs and other marketing initiatives to promote branding
Perform market research for expansion opportunities, plans, implementation of strategies
Support R&D department to advise on market needs and trends, targeting strategic product innovation and invention aid establishment of pricing strategies
Identify marketing opportunities / requirements evaluate competitor's share, competitor's strengths and weaknesses develop strategies to counter and create a benchmark for product/system
Meet specification work targets of projects assigned from time to time

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Engineering related to Structural / Building / Construction / Architecture or related discipline
Relevant experience in product/system specification work within the construction industry
Good understanding of construction practices and/or design compliances in South East Asia
Good and wide network of relations with architects / consultants
Strong presentation, engagement and communication skills
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively
Bi-lingual shall be an advantage
Willing to travel
Possess own vehicle
