Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within the APAC region for both Corporate and Private Client Services.
  • Lead potential clients through the full sales cycle from prospecting and initial contact through to deal closure ensuring the client's solutions are aligned with client business objectives.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with clients, intermediaries, and business partners.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to nurture leads into qualified sales opportunities, working closely with marketing and product teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, client needs, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and strengthen Sovereign's market positioning.
  • Represent the client at their client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
  • Ensure exceptional levels of client service throughout all stages of engagement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales/business development experience, preferably in financial services, corporate services, trust, or wealth management.
  • TEP (Trust and Estate Practitioner) qualification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the services industry, with insights into customer needs, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage credibly with high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and corporate clients.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong networking ability and commercial acumen.
