Business Development Manager

The trainee is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role focuses on market expansion, strategic partnerships, and long-term business sustainability.

Specific Responsibilities

1. Identify and develop new agribusiness opportunities by researching agricultural markets, visiting farms, and connecting with potential clients and partners.

2. Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, agribusinesses, technology partners, and other key stakeholders.

3. Develop and implement business development strategies to expand farm operations, Agriculture technology services, and sustainable solutions.

4. Prepare proposals, presentations, and agreements for farm management solutions, technology adoption, or consulting services.

5. Conduct negotiations with farmers, partners, and suppliers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements aligned with company objectives.

6. Monitor agricultural market trends, competitor activities, and evolving farmer or partner needs to inform business strategies.

7. Coordinate with the director on operational planning, farm management, and service delivery to ensure successful project implementation.

8. Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, partnerships, and farm or technology adoption activities.

9. Represent the company at agricultural events, farm exhibitions, and industry meetings to promote Agriculture technology solutions and build the brand.

Technical Skills and Competencies

1. Agriculture technology industry and product knowledge with strong commercial awareness of agricultural markets.

2. Market research and identification of agribusiness opportunities relationship management with farmers, agribusinesses, and partners.

3. Negotiation and partnership development resilience and adaptability in dynamic farming and market environments.
