Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to identify and secure new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and promote consultancy (under Momentum Strategies Brand) and training services. You will advise clients on government grants and guide potential students through enrollment, driving measurable business growth and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, source, and secure new business opportunities for consultancy services in technology, sustainability, internationalisation, and job redesign to expand market reach
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and delivering tailored advisory solutions that drive client success
  • Advise clients on relevant government grants and guide them through the application process to maximize funding opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, reports, and sales presentations to influence client decision-making and close deals
  • Coordinate projects with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and effective service delivery
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue growth targets and enhance market presence
  • Promote training courses and consult potential students, providing clear guidance through the enrollment process to increase program participation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service and maintain high levels of client satisfaction
  • Monitor industry trends, government initiatives, and emerging business opportunities to inform strategy and maintain competitive advantage

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in business development, consultancy, or sales, preferably within professional services
  • Strong knowledge of business trends, government grants, and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills demonstrated through successful client engagements
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in training or education sales is advantageous
