Business Development Manager (Project Logistics)

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow business opportunities within the project logistics and heavy lift sector
• Identify and secure new clients across industries such as oil & gas, offshore, energy, infrastructure, mining, and industrial projects
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, EPCs, and key stakeholders
• Prepare commercial proposals, tenders, and pricing solutions for project logistics requirements
• Coordinate closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth project execution and service delivery
• Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities
• Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and service agreements with clients
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to account management and post-project follow-up
• Represent the company at client meetings, networking events, and industry exhibitions
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the business

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Maritime, Business, or related discipline
• Prior experience in business development or commercial roles within project logistics, freight forwarding, heavy lift, or supply chain industry
• Strong understanding of project cargo operations, transportation solutions, and logistics processes
• Existing network within EPC contractors, energy, offshore, infrastructure, or industrial sectors would be advantageous
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Commercially driven with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
