Business Development Manager (Project Logistics)

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across shipping, project logistics, and offshore segments
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, traders, and logistics partners
• Promote the company's service offerings, including freight solutions, project cargo, and end-to-end logistics services
• Manage the full sales cycle-from lead generation and client engagement to proposal submission and deal closure
• Work closely with operations and technical teams to develop tailored logistics and transport solutions
• Monitor market trends, trade flows, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
• Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure alignment with client requirements
• Maintain and report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and business development activities

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, commercial, or sales roles within shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics
• Strong network within the maritime, oil & gas, or project cargo sectors is advantageous
• Proven track record in generating new business and achieving revenue targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
• Willingness to travel as required
