Job Summary

Drive business growth by promoting Explomo Builders construction, M&E engineering, preventive maintenance, and renewable energy services in the Maldives. Identify opportunities, build local partnerships, coordinate operations, and support contract negotiations to establish a strong market presence.

Responsibilities

Promote Explomo Builders construction, M&E engineering, preventive maintenance, and renewable energy services to companies in the Maldives to generate new business opportunities
Conduct detailed market research on the Maldivian construction, infrastructure, and renewable energy sectors to analyze demand trends and competitive landscape
Identify and pursue new tenders, projects, and partnerships aligned with company capabilities in the Maldives
Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders including resort/hotel developers, infrastructure owners, government-linked organizations, engineering consultants, and contractors to support business development
Coordinate and participate in business meetings, site visits, and business-matching sessions in the Maldives to advance company interests
Prepare comprehensive tender submissions, proposals, and project presentations tailored to prospective clients and partners
Support negotiation of commercial terms, contracts, and partnership agreements to secure favorable outcomes
Compile and deliver regular progress reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and results to management
Coordinate the setup of local operations in the Maldives by evaluating regulatory requirements and facilitating compliance for long-term business presence
Travel frequently to the Maldives to engage with stakeholders and oversee business activities
Operate independently and proactively in a new and developing market environment to drive growth initiatives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Prior exposure to overseas market development, especially in the Maldives or South Asia region, to enhance market entry strategies
Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field to support technical and commercial understanding
