Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Purpose:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting the strategic expansion of the courier services business in Singapore. This role focuses on securing both B2B and B2C clients, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding the company's market presence locally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the local logistics and courier service market
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, SMEs, and e-commerce businesses
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients
- Work with operations and customer service teams to ensure service quality and client satisfaction
- Negotiate and close contracts with clients in line with company objectives and pricing strategies
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, and trade shows to represent the company and build networks
- Develop strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
- Continuously improve sales processes and customer engagement strategies
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Marketing, or related field
- At least 3-5 years of proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the logistics or courier industry
- Strong understanding of the Singapore logistics and courier service market
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Results-driven with a strong ability to work independently and meet sales targets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Possess own transport (preferred but not mandatory)
